Quicken For Mac 2018 Trial

Quicken on Monday released the 2018 Mac edition of its personal finance software, making upgrades in areas like bill payments and investments, but primarily transitioning to a subscription-only model with Starter, Deluxe, and Premier packages.

I purchased Quicken 2018, and I am glad a own Parallels, as Quicken 2018 for mac does not come close to the windows versions I have used for years. I am looking at alternatives, as Quicken for PC is my only use for VM’s. Upgrade to Quicken 2019 by downloading and installing the latest version. Each tier scales up included features. The Starter package is aimed at 'short-term financial goals,' while Deluxe offers a more conventional featureset. Premier, finally, lets people 'maximize...investments by improving portfolio performance and minimizing taxes,' Quicken said. A Home, Business & Rental Property subscription is reserved for Windows users.
Each Mac subscription also comes with 5 gigabytes of Dropbox data for backups.
The new bill payment system introduces a streamlined workflow, with the ability to pay over 11,000 billers. Investment functions offer specific lot tracking and a customizable portfolio view, while loan tracking has been expanded with things like 'what if' scenarios.

One-year Quicken subscriptions cost $34.99, $49.99, and $74.99, respectively. Two-year subscriptions are available only at retail, and cost $49.99, $79.99, and $119.99.Should I Upgrade To Quicken 2018 For Mac

Hi everyone! Like my title states, I just bought Quicken Deluxe 2018 for Mac and I don't have a clue what to do other than add accounts and look at a neat pie chart of my expenses.

Trial

A little backstory. My wife has been doing our finances for the past 15 years. She has a notebook with all sorts of handwritten bills and when they're due and it has been working (obviously) thus far...for her. Every time I attempt to decipher her cryptex of money handling, I'm lost. I wanted to get involved more. To do that, I likely needed to start writing in her notebook of hieroglyphics, which I'll be honest, I hate hand jamming anything onto physical paper nowadays.

I purchased Quicken Deluxe 2018 for a Mac (my MacBook Pro was not really being utilized for anything except the occasional photo editing and looking up random stuff on the interwebz anyways).

I have added quite a bit of accounts ranging from Joint Checking, Savings, Auto Loan, Mortgage, Credit Cards, Roth, etc. I haven't added all the terms of my mortgage yet, which, the steps seems to be pretty easy for that and I'll do this weekend. However, what more can I do with this program to help both my wife and I conveniently and at a glance, see how we're doing? Are there any super awesome YouTube tutorials I should check out? Windows or Mac tutorials are fine as the buttons are relatively the same (my battlestation at the house consists of both a Windows PC and MacBook Pro). Please guide me oh wise ones!
